Vincentian Heritage Week 2026
Vincentian Heritage Week September 20-27, 2026
Vincentian Heritage Week is a Niagara University tradition that educates and celebrates all that makes our university community Vincentian.
You and I are meant to live in these times. Rooted in community, we are called to signal hope and attend to the signs of hope around us. With Vincent’s inspiration in our hearts, now is our time to shine brightly and respond to the needs of our time.
Throughout the week, our Niagara University community — students, faculty, administrators and staff — will engage in a variety of initiatives that promote peace, justice, the common good, and the care and inclusion of all. These opportunities invite us to come together in community and live out our shared Vincentian mission.
We invite you to participate throughout Vincentian Heritage Week and especially highlight Vincentian Mission Day to be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
Everyone is welcome to participate in these events and experience community around our shared Vincentian mission and values. Our life together at Niagara also unites us in prayer and worship, and in communion with the saints, including our patron, St. Vincent de Paul, and St. Louise de Marillac.

Vincentian Mission Day September 23, 2026
Welcome, students, faculty, staff, and honored guests, to Niagara University’s celebration of Vincentian Mission Day!
This year, our theme is “Honoring Our Heritage of Vincentian Values and Education.” On this day and throughout this week, we gather not only to reflect on our rich history and the enduring legacy of St. Vincent de Paul, but also to celebrate how those core values shape our educational mission today. From compassionate service to academic excellence, our Vincentian commitment inspires us to make a meaningful difference both on campus and in the world around us.
Thank you all for advancing this proud tradition. I hope you engage deeply with the events, discussions, and opportunities on Vincentian Mission Day and throughout the week!
View the schedule and register for the events, you wish to attend. Walk-ins are welcome at most events, although registration ahead of time is encouraged.
