Center for the Study and Practice of Religion
The Center for the Study and Practice of Religion at Niagara University has a two-fold mission. First, it seeks to engage in and promote scholarship and creative work on all facets of religion.
A primary emphasis is the Center’s involvement in applied research that is of direct use to local faith based organizations.
Second, the Center also seeks to facilitate opportunities for members of the Niagara University community to deepen their faith and involvement with religious practice. The Center welcomes scholarship, creative work, and discussion inspired by a variety of religious traditions, while also being grounded in the identity of Niagara University as a Catholic and Vincentian institution.
